TYBEE POST THEATER (b. 1930)

Digital print / black and white photograph of the Tybee Post Theater which was constructed in 1930.. This theater was the highlight of social activity for the soldiers and families at Fort Screven until its closure following WWII.. Abandoned for decades (and at certain points facing a complete demolition) the theater eventually underwent a total restoration which was completed in 2015.. Printed on glossy photo paper and packaged with backboard and protective plastic sleeve.. 8.5 x 11 inches
